Starting improv scenes in new ways!
How many times do we get that suggestion from the audience
HAMBURGER… and start the scene… “this is the best hamburger!”
MOTORCYCLE… “This is the first time I’ve ridden a motorcycle!”
FOREST…”I’ve never been to the forest before!”
In this workshop we learn how to expand from the Suggestions to begin dynamic scenes that will please not only your audience but you as the actor!

ABOUT JSTAR
Jstar studied mainly at iO (Chicago), but also at Annoyance (Chicago), Second City (Chicago), he has done intensive study with Keith Johnstone (Impro / Impro for Storytellers) as well as everyone living that has written a book on improv! Jstar combines all the many styles and approaches into a unique technique that works well for him and his theatre. He started The Basement Theatre in 2004, they just celebrated their 9th year! Jstar also produces Spontaneous Combustion Atlanta (improv festival in March 2013 was year 5) as well as Atlanta’s Top Comic (2013 is year 2).
